At Chic Boutique Consignments, we are always looking for trendy new or like-new condition women's upscale designer and better-label brands to stock our racks! We want your best-of-the-best, because our customers want that too! We make consigning easy, work hard to get the best price for your items, ship all over the country, and love that you are choosing to become a Chic Boutique consignor. We price, authenticate, and are proud to say 90% of our items sell within the first 30 days. We work on a Convenient Consignment basis, and no appointment is needed. Simply drop off your items with your name and consignor ID clearly written in or on your totes or boxes or if you are a new consignor, please include a completed copy of the contract. Items we believe will not sell to our clientele, fall outside of guidelines, OR NOT AUTHENTIC will automatically be donated/disposed, no exceptions. Totes and boxes will not be returned. NO TRASH BAGS ACCEPTED. We do not spot sort, price, or authenticate any item not set for consignment.

Do you accept formal wear?
No we do not - we do not accept formal wear but we have many dresses, some are certainly more dressier than others depending on what you are looking for!
Do you accept wedding?
We accept not wedding items - no bridal, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, or prom.
Can I get my items back you don’t accept?
We work on a convenient consignment basis so we ask our consignors to head to our website to presort before coming to drop off… whatever we think will sell with our clientele we put in an online account for you to keep track, and whatever we can not we will donate. If you have any specific questions you are welcome to email or message us a picture and our consignment team will answer quickly!
What is your split?
Our split is tiered depending on the selling price. Our contract is located on our website and here in our store with all the specifics. For designer brand items over $300 is a 50/50 split (Chanel, LV, etc)
Do you only take designer?
We deal with mostly higher end and designer brands, but other trendy items as well. Head to our website to see our “no thank you” brands and to get a better idea of brands that sell best.
Do you take vintage?
We take only vintage designer such as Chanel and LV.
If my items don’t sell can I get them back?
Items priced over $30 can be picked up within 7 days of your consignment period ending (aka “Grace period”) These dates will be located within your online consignment account.
Will you notify me when my consignment period is up?
We do not notify you, but it will show your consignment dates in your consignment portal. You can set a reminder in your phone or calendar if you’d like.
Will you let me know what you price the items at?
We do not discuss pricing but your online consignment account shows the price you receive once your items sell. We perform extensive market research and we get the best price for your items according to market value as it is in our best interest too.
Do you buy items?
We only work a consignment basis - when your item sells you receive a check or can use your balance as store credit. We do not give cash or buy items outright.
I have a Louis Vuitton but it has wear, will you still take it?
Yes, we will accept prestigious handbags in any condition, the price will just reflect the wear/condition.
Can you authenticate my items for me if they are not on consignment? Can you tell me how much you’d sell it for?
We only authenticate and perform our extensive market research on items set for consignment. We do not discuss or negotiate prices.
Do you take kids?
We take a small variety of kids such as Patagonia, Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, Burberry… all info is on our website as well.
Do you take men’s?
We take a small variety of men’s items such as Patagonia, Gucci, Burberry, Vineyard Vines, Lulu
Do you accept bathing suits?
Yes - new with tags only and bikini full set (same size) when we accept summer items or resort wear (around the holidays)
Do you accept jewelry?
We do! We just do not accept unbranded or artisan/homemade jewelry. We stick to branded jewelry such as Tiffany, David Yurman, Tory Burch, Kendra Scott, Gorgana, etc.
How do you authenticate items?
We authenticate using our in-house experts as well several third parties and dispose of any counterfeit items as well as charge a fee. We take it very seriously and only work with 100% authentic items as it is illegal to do so otherwise.
Can you go through my stuff right now?
We do not go through items on the spot. We put them into our consignment queue and the items we take will be put into your account and the items we do not take will be donated.
How do I get paid?
Once your item sells, the funds will automatically be put into your account. Balances that are over $25 can receive a check. However, any balances that are under $25 can only be used as store credit, but you are more than welcome to bring more items in to build your balance!
What is the consignor fee for?
The consignor fee gets deducted from your balance each month only if you have active items. If you do not have any active items in your account, you won’t be charged that fee.
Do I need an appointment?
You do not. You can bring in your items whenever it is convenient for you!
Where do you donate items to?
We host our idea of a “yard sale” - Backroom Blowout - all items are sold for $5 and a generous portion of the proceeds are donated to various dog rescues, and items that are left from that are donated to local foster families and women and children shelters in the Manchester area.
